This is an ideal process for fabricating products for a variety of applications. These parts offer several strong characteristics that make them so advantageous:

Flexibility
Durability
Weather Resistance
Fatigue and Compression Set Resistance
Energy Absorption
Long Work and Shelf Life

Making  polymer parts that meet your high quality standards is a specialty of Polycraft Products, Inc. Based upon your unique requirements, our design engineers work with you in selecting the most appropriate, cost effective engineering material for your particular application and specifications. We can produce a diversity of mold types, so regardless of what form of polymers, composites, or special requirements you have, we will be able to produce the tooling necessary to provide the parts or prototype for your specific application.

And because our skilled experts are supported by our own skilled machining and modeling craftsmen, we can react quickly and meet your delivery needs. Polycraft performs many tasks in-house (such as machining, casting, bonding

and assembly), so we can accelerate turnaround time, keeping you on top of your demanding schedule and saving you money at the same time.

For high temperature applications, silicone rubber should be seriously considered. Its use has been extremely important in the aerospace and automotive industries, where the temperature of high-speed turbine engines is a large factor.  It functions at temperatures from -117 to 316 degrees Celsius (-178 to 600 degrees Fahrenheit). Silicone rubber or bonded components are highly effective for parts that will be used in these extreme conditions, parts such as valves and seals.

Polyurethane is not a high temperature material. Because a certain thermoplasticity is inherent in their nature,  properties will generally fall off at elevated temperatures. Polyurethane is not a useful material under heavy service loads at temperatures of around 220-225 degrees Fahrenheit.

Limitations of polyurethane are high temperature service, moist hot environments and certain chemical environments.

Polycraft expert capabilities... design engineering, diversity of material applications, excellent turnaround time, controlled costs. Just some of the good reasons you can count of Polycraft
